Grind in Diablo 3 Endheim was better – as Diablo 4 players think
Exactly a month has passed since the release of Diablo 4, which means that more and more people can boast of the fact that they have passed the campaign and moved to the Endheim phase, which, according to many, is the main dish after the plot snack.
This is not surprising, because it is in Endgeim that the battle for the best loot, experience and effective maximum development of characters continues. This, however, is accompanied by a grind that is built into the structure of the gameplay. According to many players, Diablo 4 fails precisely on this basis.
Recently, a gamer’s message appeared on Reddit, who claims that Endheim in Diablo 4 does not bring such satisfaction as in the previous part, and, in general, is tiring. The user under the nickname ASGASDGASE admits that perhaps the reason is that he has grown old from the moment the triple exits, but perhaps the problem lies in another?
I got great pleasure from running around the dungeons and the search for loot in D3, I’m not sure that the matter is in the D4 formula or I am just getting old, but I am very bored with grinding my levels and passing the dungeons. General experience seems very monotonous after the first few hours, and at the thought that in the new season everything will have to be done again – this is sad.
I did not have such a feeling in D3, I was hooked by the grind, or maybe just a color palette and the overall pace of D4, which makes me play this game almost sleepily. Someone else feels this at thirty?
It turned out that the author of the post was not alone in his impressions, but players blamed not so much the passage of time as poorly thought out Endheim. One of the commentators wrote:
It’s not about you, but of dungeons and nightmares. What is even worse, they doubled the most boring thing in the game, NM dungeons to make them the basis of the game (even doubleting the density of the mobs, you will still feel the void). In the PVP zone, the density is almost sufficient to feel good. I will not even talk about how lonely D4 seems to be, despite the fact that there are other players nearby.
The same player gave several examples that Endheim in Diablo 3, despite his shortcomings, was simply better:
- In most dungeons, there were enough enemies to "satisfy the need to destroy mobs",
- Their layout was more diverse,
- Diablo 3 simply was "More things",
- The bosses were more interesting, and the enemies themselves were more diverse.
Many other Reddit users agree with this statement – the message has already gained more than 10,000 positive responses, and even those players who like Diablo 4 Endheim, agree that the three was more diverse in this regard.
It remains only to guess what variety Blizzard will make in the future seasons. In the end, Diablo 4 should become a long-lived game and, perhaps, will still convince the bored players.
